The project was inspired by a fusion of Armadale’s historic 19th century railway precinct and New York City itself.

We enhanced the vintage nuances of the building, such as the façade and brick interior, to create a cosmopolitan eatery that is bathed in natural light. It was important to highlight the textures of what was existing, while adding fresh style with the crisp lines..

The finishes are bold and clean. Blue-steel framework offsets the original pressed metal ceilings to create a new introspection on heritage chic. The bespoke handwritten signage pays homage to the ethos of Hank’s which is simply – thanks love Hanks.
